Cinema of the Unconscious Variety

The Hero

audiences want to feel like they’re stepping into a meaningful story from the very first frame. Yet many production logos feel generic, missing the chance to set the tone for deeper themes. Viewers crave an opening that sparks curiosity and signals the journey ahead.

The Guide

We wanted the The Jung School's production logo to guide audiences toward self-discovery through film, drawing inspiration from the work of Carl Gustav Jung and Analytical Psychology. To create their production logo, I storyboarded, designed and animated the motion graphics video as a single continuous shot, mirroring a stream of consciousness.

Drawing from Jung’s symbols of transformation and integration (masks, fire, metamorphosis, and more), I crafted an immersive sequence that prepares viewers for a profound cinematic experience.

The Change

The animation transforms a simple vanity card into an invitation to explore the unconscious. Audiences feel a sense of mystery and anticipation, entering each film already primed to reflect, question, and embrace the deeper journey The Jung School offers.
